Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by PLP Gas & Heating Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By requesting a quote, booking, or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Quotes & Estimates

  • All quotes are free unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Any changes to the agreed work may result in additional charges.

2. Bookings & Access

  • Customers must provide clear access to the property and work area on the agreed date.

  • If access is restricted or unsafe, we reserve the right to reschedule and charge for lost time.

3. Payments

  • Invoices are due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Larger projects may require a deposit or staged payments, which will be outlined in advance.

  • Payments can be made by bank transfer, card, or other agreed methods.

4. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the agreed start time may be subject to a call-out or cancellation charge.

  • Larger projects require at least 7 days’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

5. Materials & Parts

  • Any materials or parts supplied remain our property until paid in full.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all new parts and appliances, where applicable.

6. Workmanship Guarantee

  • We take pride in our work and guarantee our labour for 12 months from the date of completion (unless otherwise stated).

  • This guarantee does not cover issues caused by misuse, neglect, or interference by other trades.

7. Larger Projects & Refurbishments

  • For kitchens, bathrooms, and full refurbishments, we may work with trusted subcontractors and tradespeople.

  • We will oversee and coordinate their work, but specific warranties or guarantees from subcontractors may apply separately.

8. Liability

  • While every effort is made to protect your property, we are not liable for pre-existing faults, wear and tear, or issues beyond the scope of agreed work.

  • We hold appropriate insurance to cover our work and staff.

9. Complaints

  • If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us directly. We aim to resolve all issues quickly and fairly.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
